Punishing: Gray Raven, the graphically impressive anime action-RPG from Kuro Games, has just received its latest massive content patch.

The new update, Blazing Simulacrum, is a limited-time collaboration with the popular character BLACKROCK SHOOTER.

The new character has a lot of design details that are in keeping with her original image. With her cool expression and blue flames burning in her left eye, the Rock Cannon raised on her right arm shows off her mighty power, and the sharp Black Blade hanging from her left arm hides her battle intention, expressing the charm of the lively BLACKROCK SHOOTER.

In the new collaboration story, her arch-rival “Dead Master” will also appear as the boss. Some classic elements, like “Skull Head” and “Scythe” will be involved in the battle scene, further bringing players a refreshing combat experience. Let’s witness how the story will be told when they meet in the world of Punishing: Gray Raven.

Throughout the Blazing Simulacrum event, you’ll have access to a whole new BLACKROCK SHOOTER-themed story chapter, a host of limited-time events, and a ton of visually stunning SFX coatings.

BLACKROCK SHOOTER is a A-Rank Attacker Omniframe, obtainable within 10 pulls, comes rocking an exclusive Bladed Cannon weapon, an impressive skillset, and the ability to deal damage when she releases her signature. She also comes with a exclusive coating-Elder Flame.

The other new SFX coatings include Nightbreaker for Lucia: Crimson Weave and Snowbreak Bloom for Liv: Luminance, while Solitary Dream for Bianca: Stigmata and Vox Solaris for Selena: Capriccio are both getting a rerun.

On top of all that, the latest Punishing: Gray Raven update contains a whole new Chessboard Realms roguelike gameplay mode.

What’s Punishing: Gray Raven？

Released in 2021, Punishing: Gray Raven is a free-to-play action RPG with blisteringly fast gameplay and eye-meltingly beautiful visuals.

It sees players taking on the role of commandant of the Gray Raven unit, a crack military outfit tasked with assembling an army of cyborg soldiers and rescuing humanity from the brink of extinction at the hands of a robotic zombie army.

Earth has been abandoned in the fray, and the last remnants of humanity are clinging to life on a space station called Babylonia. It’s from this outpost that you assemble your army and strike out for revenge.

Punishing: Gray Raven has received a steady flow of updates since its launch, as well as a PC version in 2023 and a full English dub later that year.
