ToyTopia, the Hotly Anticipated Match-3 Puzzler from Webzen, Has Soft Launched in Select Regions

Webzen has just announced that ToyTopia—the studio’s innovative match-three puzzler for mobile—is now playable on Android in select regions.

Developed by Webzen Cube Inc., a subsidiary of Webzen with a decidedly casual focus, ToyTopia looks a lot like a traditional match-three puzzler on the surface.

It boasts a cheerful aesthetic, a colorful cast of characters, and the kind of accessible and addictive gameplay that has propelled titles like Candy Crush Saga and Angry Birds Match 3 to global domination.

In a nutshell, that accessible gameplay sees you matching toys to outmaneuver a series of villainous gimmicks.

But ToyTopia doesn’t stop there. It also adds a building mechanic, giving you the opportunity to customize and decorate your very own town before populating it with toy-themed characters.

Every time you complete a puzzle you’ll earn a Star. These are redeemable at the Dreamcatcher Machine, where you can unlock characters to place in your buildings. This in turn allows you to earn Coins to spend on power-ups and other goodies.

Plus, the studio is kicking off the ToyTopia soft launch with a seven-day daily login event. All you need to do is log in once a day for a week and you’ll amass a ton of rewards, special characters, and more.

As long as you live in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, the Philippines, Thailand, or a handful of other territories, you can download ToyTopia for free right now on the Google Play Store.

And if you’re an iOS user, don’t panic. ToyTopia is heading to the App Store on a later date.
