Discord Encourages Userbase To Touch Grass In It’s F2P Game, The Last Meadow.

2025-11-30

Running from April 1st to the 7th, Discord have released a limited-time game named The Last Meadow. This cookie-clicker-like game encourages users to touch grass. Don’t hiss yet! Discord knows its user base, and you can comfortably play this game from your desk.

The Last Meadow challenges players to restore a barren world one click at a time. Each click generates cash to spend on upgrades to increase profits. As you invest in the future of this world, wildlife will return in abundance and help generate more grass currency per click. Check out the gameplay trailer below to get an idea of what you’re in for!

Despite the trailer’s visuals, the gameplay has much smoother and higher-quality graphics*. Featuring MS Paint-like scribbles and shoddy animation, this running gag game serves to prove the Discord team know how to have fun and fool their audience. What I’m saying is don’t take this game at face value. All of the budget clearly went into the trailer.

It begins relaxed as a simple clicking simulator but quickly gets hectic with pop-ups, loot boxes, and sabotages! Squish pollen and lawnmowers beneath your snazzy upgraded cursor to prevent them from siphoning your wage.

This April Fools instalment to the gaming suite has a playtime of around 10 minutes, with a neat free profile decoration for players who complete the challenge. The ‘Touch Grass’ decor features a handful of grass in the bottom left of a user’s icon, with a white cursor hand pointing towards it from above and a little white fly in the top right corner.

Start playing The Last Meadow before it’s too late via Discord! Writing this news was almost as fun as playing The Last Meadow, so I sure hope Discord add more home-baked games in the future. In the market for more games? Check out our piece on Redline Shifting.

*Hah, gotcha. I was joking.
