Metal Slug 3’s Marco and Eri Join Doomsday: Last Survivors in Latest Crossover Event

Metal Slug 3 fans, rejoice, for your favourite characters are back courtesy of a brand new in-game collaboration event with Doomsday: Last Survivors. For those unaware, this is a hugely successful mobile strategy game that sees you taking command of a group of survivors in a post-apocalyptic world as you strive to build a base.

You build that shelter from scratch, putting together defences and recruiting heroes to help keep the zombies away. Heroes can level up, access new equipment, and organise into a variety of nifty formations to take advantage of their strengths. Or, to make up for any weaknesses. Put that glass cannon in the back!

Doomsday: Last Survivors also draws inspiration from classic MMORPGs, and invites you to play with, or against, your friends. You can form an alliance and work together to fight off zombies and other survivors, or raid hapless shelters to gather more resources.

When Does the Doomsday: Last Survivors x Metal Slug 3 Event Start?

Right now! The crossover officially began today and runs all the way to Halloween on October 31. To grab that new hero, Marco and Eri (who are a single entity), you can participate in ‘Puzzle Event’. Draw jigsaw pieces, complete puzzles, and grab yourself rewards for doing so – including those characters.

But that’s not all—get ready for more action with ‘Metal Trial.’ This new challenge event tasks you with clearing stages using specially provided heroes, each with unique abilities tailored to tackle different obstacles.

There’s plenty more where that came from. Lucky draw events on the in-game lucky draw web page through September and October will also give you the opportunity to win a custom gold accessory. You can also visit the special event website to take on external challenges such as sharing the page on social media to get an opportunity to flip cards, possibly earning a $500 Amazon Gift Card.

New players can form a Doomsday Squad and take on the Doomsday Challenge to get absolutely showered with rewards. Meanwhile, returning players have a totally separate event that encourages you to complete missions together, and earn rewards. Yes, there’s even more Amazon Gift Cards up for grabs.
