Appxplore has just launched a new Claw Stars collab event, and it’s a doozy. 

The event is built around Usagyuuun, a breathtakingly popular chat sticker character that’s available on Facebook, WhatsApp, and a ton of other platforms besides.

If Usagyuuun’s face looks familiar to you, it should. The stickers have been downloaded more than 6 billion times worldwide, which—for scale—is about one and a half times for everybody on earth with a smartphone.

It’s kind of a big deal.

And this Claw Stars x Usagyuuun event is welcoming Usagyuuun into the world of casual gaming for the first time.

It sees you taking the claw-grabbing helm in the guise of the perpetually smiling rabbit-mochi hybrid, unlocking all sorts of rewards, exclusive items, and novel gameplay features in the process.

Collab events are commonplace on mobile, but it’s rare to see a collaboration where the two partners are so perfectly suited to each others’ universes.

Included in this package are two quirky new spaceships, including one that looks like a carrot, with a pilot that also looks like a carrot. There are several new joysticks, an adorable ear-friendly Usagyuuun Helmet, and 20 unique spacesuits. 

Oh, and two new Style Station collections: Naughty Rabbit and Mecha Rabbit.

The Exclusive Stickers

Usagyuuun is known primarily as the star of a social media chat sticker range, so it’s no surprise that this collab comes with its own range of Usagyuuun stickers to use in conversations with your fellow Squadron members. 

These animated stickers let you express a whole range of sentiments, while a range of mischievous Usagyuuun foolstone pics are on hand for pranking your friends. Plus, there are five outrageously adorable Usagyuuun profile avatars to choose from. 

The New Gameplay

Of course, Claw Stars x Usagyuuun isn’t just about cosmetic goodies. It also brings new gameplay to the party. 

For instance, there’s a special mission that sees you clawing for special bunny capsules that have strangely materialized throughout the land. Collect enough of these and you’ll get an Usagyuuun Costume, among other rewards. 

On top of that, Usagyuuun is joined by their best friend Nekogyuuun, adding to your coterie of helpers. Collecting Nekogyuuun’s DNA lets you evolve this special character through four increasingly adorable stages, giving you yet another goal to aim for.

Cuteness Squared

Claw Stars x Usagyuuun is what happens when you multiply cuteness by cuteness. 

The pairing of Usagyuuun’s universally adored cartoon rabbit with Claw Stars’s cast of cuddly critters is pretty much as cute as it gets, establishing the perfect mood for a casual gaming session.
