Entwining the legend of Baba Yaga with Howls Moving Castle, Reka puts you in the boots of an aspiring witch. On this journey of self-discovery and magical mysteries, you build up a shack that wanders after you on two gigantic chicken legs. This decision-based game challenges you to take control of your destiny, helping or hindering the townsfolk that seek the witch’s help during the cooler Autumn months.

Such gorgeous graphics pair nicely with the building element of the game, where you can create and decorate unique and personalized spaces. From fully custom witch appearances to endless imaginative build styles, this game could almost be a high-graphic Minecraft Witch POV game… And, as a gamer who enjoys building elements, the art style and freedom of Reka alone have me absolutely sold!

Don’t forget about your witching duties! Forrage the local outskirts and master your brewery to complete quests for locals, or help yourself. Though, this world isn’t all forgiving. You have important choices to make when aiding the villagers. Will you heal them in their time of need, or curse them for the fun of it? Perhaps they deserved it… Either way, I’m not trying to get on your bad side.

When you’ve had your fill of building and bubbling potions you can relax and enjoy the scenery. Reka invites an open-world approach with vast landscapes featuring gorgeously designed biomes. During your mooch, you may find some friendly critters who you may befriend and take home. Cats, rats, glowing deer, and other oddities. Every witch needs their familiar!
