The Moonlight Peaks Demo is Like a Gothic Animal Crossing Spin-Off

2025-11-30

If you haven’t heard of Moonlight Peaks, then you’re about to find out. This is a game that has been on my radar for quite a while at this point, and we finally have a demo! Yes, the demo has been out for a few days as of right now, but I’d like to highlight just how magical this unique farming sim is.

While it’s still in development, Moonlight Peaks is already proving popular amongst the cosy gamer community. Fans are avidly watching the game’s official Twitter page to find out the latest updates regarding newly added content, important dates, and more. From the looks of it, the demo seems to be available indefinitely to give plenty of people a chance to try it out ahead of its release.

For more information about Moonlight Peaks, visit the game’s official Steam page, where you can also download the charming demo right now!

Cool Demo, But When is Moonlight Peaks Out?

Speaking of the release date, the game  doesn’t currency have a planned launch day. The official Steam page states “To be announced”. However, the Moonlight Peaks demo gives players the chance to provide the developers with feedback about their experience in the first seven in-game nights.

It’s also important to note that the demo is missing a lot of future content. So while Moonlight Peaks may seem pretty empty at the moment, it definitely won’t be as development continues. The development team plans to add tons of more features such as romanceable NPCs, normal NPCs, customisation, spells, and crafting recipes to name a few.

The Child of Dracula Starts a Farm!

Still not sold on Moonlight Peaks just yet? Well, what if I told you that you get to play as a cute vampire? As Dracula’s child, you can turn into a bat, brew up magical potions, and cast a wide variety of spells (think Fae Farm!). All whilst interacting with a wide roster of supernatural characters. Meet witches, werewolves, and other fantasy creatures as you explore the town.

The demo has dropped just in time for Halloween, so I recommend trying it out as soon as you can to celebrate the spooky season! For those who love relaxing farming sims, vampires, and games with a gothic aesthetic (I’m basically describing myself here), Moonlight Peaks is well worth a try.

Fan of cosy games like me? Have a read of my Fae Farm review!
