This Bed We Made Blends Titles Like Cluedo With The Fallout Franchise

This Bed We Made takes you back to the working class of the 1950s. However, this game is enchanted with the high-end graphics of modern-day A-listers. You play as Sophie, a hotel maid who happens to be a frequent victim to the art of snooping. As you traverse this rich storyline, you’ll uncover plenty of mysteries about the travellers who have claimed rest at your work. From murder to heartbreak and passionate love, surely knowing so much won’t get you into any trouble?

This Bed We Made

This Bed We Made’s immersive lore encourages you to truly absorb your surroundings. The fully voice-acted cut scenes blended with cinematic visuals have this game play out much like a movie, except your choices and freedom to explore will impact the overall outcome. Upon uncovering sickening secrets, Sophie elects herself an in-house detective, who is spying on her manager, and guests. She gathers data and has to choose whom she trusts very carefully from her other co-workers and even the police.

Did I mention you will actually be tasked with making beds in between all the detective work? There are plenty of things to interact with, from actual maid’s work to photographs and strange items carried by the guests. You can do all of this whilst jamming to the somehow nostalgic and catchy tunes of the time. If you have played Fallout, you’ll understand what I mean when I mention “I don’t want to set the world on fire” by the Ink Spots. This Bed We Made reaches for that same connection with Lucille Dumont’s track from the 50s, “Parc Lafontaine”.

Or, why not have a nosey (like Sophie would) at the game trailer?
